Fortunately I wouldn’t say we’ve had a really bad studio experience, touch wood. Probably the first demo we recorded cos the music was so bad!
What would your music sound like if Elvis had never existed?
I’m not an Elvis fan at all but I can appreciate that he’s influenced artists that I like…but then we get into messing with the space/time continuum and that hurts my brain!

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time.
Which ringtone do you use?
I always have my phone on silent. Ringtones are the worst.

Lately by Stevie Wonder

Wine Gums, all kinda of Haribo…I’m a sweetie fiend.
What would you be today if you had not become a pop star?
Haha I’m definitely not a pop star! Probably still working on the road with musicians.
In which band would you like to play (except your own)?
That’s so hard, I’m not good enough to be in any bands I like! Rancid or Wu Tang Clan if either of them called for a cockney nerd.

Flexitone.
The greatest musical genius (dead or alive)?
The greatest songwriter is Bob Marley.
