„Experimental rock, with a bit of electronics, a bit of complication and a bit of stupidity“.

What was the most wonderful gig you ever played?
We’ve been lucky to play in really special places: in a cave in Lanzarote surrounded by albino crabs, in an abandoned swimming park in France, in a Mexican worker’s union party in Texas or on the 10th floor of a Tokyo skyscraper. The last unforgettable show was last year in a huge car repair shop in Açores Islands, collaborating with a traditional brotherhood of castanet musicians.

Where would you absolutely love to play?
Indonesia and Senegal are places where we’d love to go, know, play and learn! Other good stage locations could be the crater of the Popocatepetl, a very fast hovercraft over the Yangtse, or Nehmes Bastet’s tomb in Ancient Egypt.

How would you describe your music to someone who hasn’t listened to it yet?
We’d say it’s experimental rock, with a bit of electronics, a bit of free, a bit of complication and a bit of stupidity. When we compose, we take seriousness as a joke, and we take jokes very seriously.

What’s your best memory of seeing live music?
These last 2 years we’ve seen unforgettable shows, like el Cabrero, Meshuggah, June of 44, Swans, la Femme en Rouge or Tristan Perich & Vicky Chow.

Describe the perfect stage outfit.
The cow suit in the film Top Secret. It would be difficult to play, though.

Please describe your worst studio experience.
We recorded our last album by ourselves in our own practice space. The worst experience was to do the best take ever and realise we didn’t press „record“.

Whitch things must always be in your tour bag?
Headphones, a book, a hawaiian shirt and swim shorts.

Which song never fails to make you sing, hum or whistle along?
Fire Back About Your New Baby’s Sex from Don Caballero

What was the first song you fell in love with and why?
I don’t know the first, but the last was „Ever New“, by Beverly-Glenn Copeland. We listened to it on tour crossing the Pyrenees last summer.

Which program was the last you binge-watched?
The Procés, a very complicated series about Catalan politicians pretending to seek independance while Spanish politicians pretend to stop it, but in the end they are both rat-eating alien reptiles that want to conquer humanity through boredom and stagnation. Maybe we’re mixing tv programs.

Your favourite misbehavior?
Making jokes in the wrong moment.

Your favourite Weird Food Quirks?
Potato Chips Omelette

What did you want to be when you were growing up?
Edu wanted to build trains, Pau wanted to build palm trees

The most beautiful woman and/or man in showbusiness?
Our favorite women in music are Katherina Ex and Yoshimi Boredoms.
