What was the most wonderful gig you ever played?
This year at the Melt festival in Germany was a very great experience. We played at the main stage late at night, directly after Metronomy, which I have the deepest respect for. After the concert I was so exhausted that I couldn’t hardly speak, because of all that energy given to the intense crowd. And the massive energy they gave back. A night with heavy impact for us.
Where would you absolutely love to play?
We are going to Colombia and Acapulco in Decemcer. Am looking forward to that. There`s a lot of exotic destinastions on the table for next year to. Especially in South America. Looking very much forward to those adventures/experiences.
Please describe your worst studio experience.
In the making of our album the plot. We had a lot of terrible studio experiences. Going to the studio with the completely wrong focus doing stupid unnescessary things without any overview of the situation. No sense of the bigger picture what so ever.
The title of the book that touched you most is…
The Brothers Karamassov by Ddostojevski. A moving book on many levels.
Which ringtone do you use?
The most beautiful love song ever is called…
A Perfect Day by Lou Reed. Is the first one that pops in to my mind.
Which song (except your own songs) do you know by heart?
More than you wanna now. I used to play a lot of jazz.
Boxer shorts or briefs?
Boxer. Its more chill
Which TV show is essential?
I love House Of Cards.
Describe the perfect stage outfit.
We have been touring in some awesome dresses made by the danish designer „Henrik Vibskov“. At the moment, that’s the peak outfit for whomadewho.
Your favourite candy?
I don’t like candy much. But if someone offers me a pimp „flødebolle“ I will eat it with big pleasure.
What would you be today if you had not become a pop star?
An underground actor, doing music on the side.
In which band would you like to play (except your own)?
Miles Davis around the time of „Live Evil“. That would have been a big experience
What’s your favourite instrument?
I love playing the piano, and playing around with my computer.
But… my favorite instrument will always be the guitar. It is so closely connected to the emotions. Where piano and computer, quickly becomes to rational.
The greatest musical genius (dead or alive)?
As a bandleader, Miles Davis.
In terms of guitar-playing and song writing: Nick Drake.
So many great souls out there. A hard question.
Alive I really like what Flying Lotus or James Blake have going on at the moment.
The most beautiful woman in showbusiness?
Beyonce looks pretty nice.
How would you spend an unexpected gift of 1000 Euro (you’re not allowed to invest in alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, holidays or prostitution)?
I would definately take my girlfriend to the Danish restaurant „Noma“ and eat a world class meal….
We recently went to another world class restaurant in copenhagen called „Geranium„. Would love to do more of this…
